Anand Sharma

Anand’s signature style is focused on figurative works where he depicts human interaction where subversive power is conveyed to show how ‘the innocent’ are manipulated, controlled or dominated by others. He depicts his characters using bold, acrylic colours and enjoys pen and ink work combining drawing with splashes of transparent water colour.
“When composing for ‘BRIDGE2WORLDS’ I reflected on the drama, dance, emotions, heart touching songs and lots of colours in Indian movies and also the inspiring dialogue and messages. In the current work I was uplifted by the film ‘Super 30’ which is a true story of how one man overcame difficult challenges to achieve his ambitious goal to educate the poorest in society to achieve entry to the top educational institutions in India- the stories in Bollywood cinema are truly uplifting.”
Anand lives in Agartala, Tripura, India. He completed his Bachelors in Fine Arts (Painting) from the Govt. Art and Craft Collage (Tripura) 2019 and his Masters in Fine Arts (Painting) from Tripura University (Tripura) in 2021. His works have been exhibited throughout India.
