Harshada B Tondwalkar

Harshada has a natural inclination towards portraiture. Her paintings convey subtle reflections and a range of emotions denoting spirituality, devotion, love, joy, affection, and intimacy in her works.
For the ‘BRIDGE2WORLDS’ she focused on two well-known actresses who were also
accomplished dancers, namely the iconic Helen and Madhubala. ” Helen liberated me in childhood with her intoxicating dancing. She has the dance power to draw us in by conveying the rhythm of the song through her sheer joy and free bodily communication, engaging with charm, graceful movements. For many years, I also wanted to paint the actress Madhubala and sought inspiration from the movie Mughal E Azam. She enacted love for Krishna, with a charming dance performance. She is always elegant, eloquent and mesmerising to watch.”
Harshada Tondwalkar resides in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She completed her Bachelor of Fine Art Degree (B.F.A) from Pune university and achieved her Diploma in Art Teaching from the Sir J. J School of Art, Mumbai. In 2024, she completed her Master’s in Fine Arts (M.F.A) in Creative Portrait painting.
