As an artist,  Zakir Husain Tanha, strives to create works that reflect the complexities of contemporary society, addressing social, environmental, and political issues with thoughtfulness and depth.

“My art serves as a window into different realities, weaving unrelated elements into cohesive narratives that challenge viewers to see the familiar in a new light. Drawing inspiration from my day-to-day experiences, I explore various artistic styles—surrealism, realism, and abstraction—to evoke introspection and communicate meaningful messages through my art, I transform personal anguish and hope into tangible expressions of beauty, resilience, and innovation. My goal is to offer society not only a reflection of its challenges but also a message of hope and positivity, inspiring thought, awareness, and a deeper connection to the world we share”.

In his recent series, Bint-e-Hawwa, he explores the significance of women in society, celebrating their beauty, strength, and nurturing qualities. Using symbolic elements like the apple to represent knowledge and vitality.
