Dr. Chinmayi Nath is a multidisciplinary professional based in the UK, working as an artist, author, designer, and educator. She holds a PhD in Geology from India and a Diploma in Art & Design from the University of the Arts, London, channelling her passion into a rich body of work as a self-taught artist. She is also an author of two art books—Creative Art—A Distinct Approach to Drawing ; Painting; and Expressing and Experimenting with Palm Leaf Art 

She has received recognition, including selection as a Wild Card participant for the Landscape Artist of the Year TV show (2022; 2026) and the “Best Acrylic Artist of the Year” award from the Southend Art Club.

Statement:

Being a compelling multidisciplinary artist, author, designer and educator, Dr Chinmayi Nath’s work beautifully bridges traditional Indian aesthetics with contemporary Western practices, notably extensively working on Odisha’s palm leaf etching techniques.

Nature, landscape, and the vibrant expressions of diverse cultures and geography have fuelled her creative vision, inspiring her to capture compelling landscape paintings, portraits, and explore textile art and jewellery making.
